Reading Challenge 2020 Hot Dog 4: Game Time

Today I am doing my Reading Challenge 2020 and my chosen book is Hot dog 4:Game Time! The author of this book is Anh do.

The main characters in this book are Hot Dog, Lizzie and kev. Kev is really upset because his mum lives on Rainbow Island but he doesn’t get to see Rainbow Island very much because it is very far away. Kev found a poster on a tree that said “Show us your speed, skill and strength and win a competition to go to Rainbow Island”. This book is about how Kev and his team behaved and what they did to win the trip to Rainbow Island.

I like this book because it shows thoughtfulness which means looking out for each other even if you’re in a competition. Kev (the cat) wanted to win a competion to go to the amazing Rainbow Island to meet his mum. In the competition there were a few injuries and Kev helped the people who were hurt calm down. Kev and his team didn’t win the prize (which was to go to the amazing rainbow island). Instead they went to the amazing Rainbow Island a different way which was that the people who got injured insisted on helping Kev to get to Rainbow Island!
