The author of this book is Rick Riordan.

This Book is №1 in the series.

Percy is the son of the Greek God Poseidon, mainly known for being the king of Water.

When the school holidays came, Percy had to say bye to his best friend from school. His friend (Grover), gave Percy his address. “In case you need me,” Grover said to Percy. When Percy’s father, Poseidon, married Percy’s mum, they decided that their child would go to the summer camp. Grover’s address was that exact camp. Percy’s mum took the tough decision to send him to the camp. When Percy went to the camp, he realised that all the people there were daughters of famous Greek Gods. Zeus, Hera, Ares, Apollo, everyone. You can read about the gods by clicking on the links above. Who knows what friendships he’ll make…

A little bit about the title of this book:

So Zeus’s Thunderbolt (which he uses to make thunder when he’s angry) gets stolen. Zeus straight away blames Poseidon. Poseidon says that if someone does not give the bolt back you can punish me. So Percy goes on the perilous adventure to hunt the Thunderbolt. He meets some terrifying monsters…

Honestly, after reading this book, I got really interested in Greek Gods. I searched up on Poseidon and read everything about him. The detail included in this book was FAB. After I finished each chapter, I was longing to read the next. Each chapter ended with a really mysterious ending, which I really liked. I have nothing bad to say of this book, so I ABSOLUTELY recommend this book to everyone!

Thank you for reading my blog and I will see you at my next one!
