Gangsta Granny Strikes Again

The author of this amazing book is none other than David Walliams.

This is the latest David Walliams book that I have read. However, since then, he has published a new book called Spaceboy.

This book is the sequel of Gangsta Granny. If you have read Gangsta Granny, you would know that Granny dies at the end. In this book though, someone has taken Granny’s name, ‘The Black Cat’. But Granny is dead! So who could this person be? Read the book to find out!

I loved this book. At the start, I was so mystified by the thought of who might the thief be. As I read the book, I started to get the feeling of who it was. The clues were slowly coming to me, slow enough that I didn’t find out straight away, but quickly enough that I didn’t lose interest and give up.

This book helped me find out something I didn't know before. The Gangsta had stolen something called the Tutankhamun’s mask. I later went on to do a little bit of research on it and found out this:

Tutankhamun was an Egyptian Pharaoh from the 18th century.

Another thing I have always liked about David Walliams’ books is the fact that he mixes up the fonts and sizes of the words which makes it more interesting to read. For e.g. if it said ‘vroom’ in the book, it would have all the letters in capitals and on an angle. Like this: V R O O M!
